Autumn ornithological tours to Uzbekistan – a novelty of a season of 2016-2017!
Uzbekistan, being in the center of the Central Asian region, has a unique natural conditions – high mountain massifs of Western Tien Shan and Pamir-Alai, a network of reservoirs in the area between two major rivers Amu Darya and Syr Darya rivers, and vast desert and semi-desert area.
Localization and ecosystems of Uzbekistan reflects a variety of birds – 470 types, of which at constant observation, in the year can see up to 320 species.
For the last 17 years in Uzbekistan we annually spend ornithological tours during the spring period. However from this year, we bring to your attention autumn rounds on supervision over birds.
Dates for the autumn tour can vary from the first half of October to the end of November. Duration 7-9 days tours. On average, we suggest to see during the tour 110-130 species of birds.
In contrast to the spring tour in the autumn to see and alpine species (vertical migrants) on available Beldersay altitudes and pass the Ottoman-Karachi the flown-up northern migrants and birds arriving in Uzbekistan for the winter. However, the most important local views are also available for monitoring: Pygmy Cormorant, Long-legged Buzzard, Griffon Vulture, Himalayan Vulture Bearded Vulture, Black-bellied Sungrouse, With-winged Woodpecker, Desert Warbler, Scrub Warbler, Finsch’s Wheatear, Turkestan Tit, Yellow-breasted Tit, Rufous-vented Tit, Eastern Rock Nuthatch.
